This Pride Month Somos Familia celebrates 15 years of unconditional love & support to LGBTQ+ Latinxs & their families. Celebrate with us by making a donation of $25 or more. Your donations will be used to directly benefit our Spanish-speaking support groups:

• FAMILIAS Y DIVERSIDAD - by & for Spanish-speaking families with LGBTQ+ loved ones

• GRUPO DE APOYO FÈNIX - by & for Spanish-speaking transmasculine identified individuals

• GRUPO DE JOVENES - the relaunch of a social group by & for Spanish-speaking LGBTQ+ youth

Somos Familia is a community-based organization founded 15 years ago by two moms who wanted to make the world safer & more accepting for our LGBTQ+ youth & their families. Our community volunteers provide peer support & education programs, such as workshops on acceptance, gender & sexuality terminology, & being an ally. Each year, we reach hundreds of childcare providers, community-based organizations, school staff, youth, & parents. Our community-building events provide safe spaces for families with LGBTQ+ children to come together & support one another. We also develop & disseminate critically needed bilingual education materials, which are used in several countries.
